We are looking for an experienced, self motivated, energetic store person with the ability to control an engineering spare parts store. The person will have sole responsibility for the day to day running of the store located in our Murrarie office but under the direction and assistance of our Sydney Spare Parts group.
Essential requirements:
- Ability to Control Receipting and Dispatching of goods, associated administrative tasks and coordination of freight and transport requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with spare parts software.
- Previous experience in database updating and inventory control reporting.
- Competent in the use of computers: Excel, Word, email and internet.
- Able to meet deadlines and follow procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on your own initiative.
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong technical focus – Mechanical trade qualifications or basic engineering knowledge a distinct advantage
- Forklift licence
- Strong communication skills and previous exposure in dealing directly with customers and clients.
