Your World Medical Recruitment works in partnership with Clinicall Pty Ltd who provides a range of allied health care services to various Aged Care Facilities across Australia.  The organisation boasts an innovative Management team which consists of qualified and practicing Allied Health Pra ctitioners as well as Business Managers. 
 

 

This is an autonomous position working as a Physiotherapist within a multidisciplinary environment.  We are looking to recruit Physiotherapists who are strong communicators, flexible, multi-skilled and are able to work with a diverse range of individuals and groups. 
 

 

The position is to commence in Birkdale, Queensland as soon as the 2nd August and can be a short-term position or lead into a permanent position.
 

 

Purpose of role:

To provide client centered Physiotherapy services that meet the Aged Care requirements.  The Primary aims of this role are to reduce pain, maximise mobility and independence of the client to perform the activities of daily living.
 

 

Duties will include:

  • Implementing & Managing Pain Management clinics.
  • Working co-operatively with Exercise Physiologists and Physio Aids at the facility, and supervise any students on placement.
  • Providing comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and care plans to aged care residents.
  • Assisting in organising and running relevant group activities and promoting other Clinicall services to the facility.
  • Maintaining Physiotherapy supplies, documentation and equipment 
  • Participating in conference calls as required.
  • Maintenance of client record keeping.
  • Participating in Professional Development
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

 

 

You must have:

  • Full Australian Physiotherapy registration
  • Eligibility for membership of the APA
  • An approved Physiotherapy qualification
  • The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to administer own clinical work practice

 

 

Desirable:

  • Current full drivers License
  • A full police clearance conducted within the last year
  • Demonstrated experience in aged care facilities

This role is working for a large national organisation, with on-going training, development and support.
 

 

The role will be paid on an hourly rate between $29 - $38 per hour, depending on experience, for the first 6 months, before becoming permanent role if you so choose. This is a very flexible position and can be short-term, long-term or permanent.
