A dynamic, rapidly expanding & secure company is currently seeking a Senior Drill & Blast Engineer to join their team in Central Qu eensland. This organisation boasts multiple projects and encourages people within their organisation to grow and expand their skills and more importantly provides the opportunities to do so.
In this role you will be responsible for providing technical services to operational personnel. This is a big role and will provide big challenges and big rewards. Some of your specific duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Development of Drill & Blast designs
- Ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Developing & initiating continuous improvement projects
The successful applicant will:
- Possess appropriate tertiary qualifications
- Have a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal & external customers
- Have strong analytical abilities
