Our client is a fashion retailing icon, with an enviable position in a highly competitive market.

 

To join a Brisbane based team, within an organisation praised by its staff for its supportive culture and spirit, they require a footwear and accessories buyer.

 

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

• providing input into the development and implimentation of new ranges and styles
• developing and strengthening relationships with both current and new suppliers
• assisting with pricing recommendations
• achieving budget and growth targets

 

We are looking for someone with:

• at least 6-8 years buying experience
• a knowledge of footwear construction and fabrication
• exceptional communication and negotiating skills
• A high degree of initiative and attention to detail
