As a Principal Noise Consultant, this key appointment will be based within the Environmental Management team of the South Queensland Operating Centre.
As a highly skilled Senior Scientist/Engineer (10+ years experience) you will bring to the role;
- Extensive experience in environmental noise and/or building acoustics
- Proven business development skills
- Proficient noise modelling experience
- Understanding of relevant QLD noise guidelines and criteria
- Experience in Architectural Acoustic Assessments is an advantage
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills
- A highly energetic and motivated approach to your work and the ability to lead and mentor fellow team members
Having extensive knowledge and experience within the noise industry, the successful applicant will be accustomed and comfortable working within a multiple project, multidisciplinary environment displaying the capability to lead, manage and oversee all aspects of various projects ensuring work is delivered on time and to budget.
Focusing on team performance will require the ability to show initiative, the capacity to manage competing demands and support business needs and goals. You will have a relevant tertiary degree complemented by proven experience within a multidisciplinary technical team.
