THREE of the South Coast and Tablelands up-and-coming swimmers have impressed with solid performances at championship meets recently.
Ashleigh DeFrenza, of the Berkeley Swimming Club, won two silver medals at the NSW Country Championships, in the 100m freestyle and backstroke.
She was awarded the school and Brokers district age champion for the third year in a row and the regional age champion for the second year.
To top the list, Ashleigh has been the SCATSA (South Coast and Tablelands Swimming Association) age champion for the past three years.
At the recent Brophy Shield in Canberra, Ashleigh collected two gold and one silver medals for the district team.
Ashleigh will be one of the many swimmers from the SCATSA area to swim at the primary schools championships at the Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre next Wednesday and Thursday.
Continuing in their usual impeccable styles, the Panozzo boys, Marco and Dino, of the Kiama Swimming Club, have tallied up some impressionable swims over the past few weeks.
Marco, in particular, has done extremely well, having broken three records as the South Coast Diocese Carnival.
Both Dino and Marco took out the junior boy and senior boy championships at the South Coast Diocese Swimming Championships.
