Squad Back In The Swim

THE South Coast and Tablelands swimming association has held its second squad training session for the year.

Each year the association calls for nominations for the three squads, catering for young inexperienced swimmers to the top country and state competitors.

Almost all the Illawarra Academy of Sport swimmers have progressed through these development squads, including leading swimmers Jason Cram and Lori Munz.

During training sessions, swimmers are shown how to check their heart rate and are advised by guest speakers about nutrition, fitness and technical issues.
