Woman Spends 2 Nights In Bush

Illawarra Mercury

Wednesday January 2, 2008

A 54-YEAR-OLD bushwalker has been found safe and well after two nights missing in rugged bushland in NSW's Northern Tablelands.

Susan Sewell was reported lost after she set out on a bushwalk in the Guy Fawkes River National Park early on Sunday, wearing only shorts and a T-shirt.

Cattle handlers found her about 1pm yesterday, north-west of Dorrigo, about 15km from where she was last seen, police said.

Mrs Sewell was believed to be in a satisfactory condition, they said.
